Sam Lufti & Adnan Ghalib Attempting To Remove Conservatorship
31st January 2009
Documents filed today state that Sam Lufti and Adnan Ghalib were conspiring to contact Britney, with the aim of removing her conservatorship and reinstating themselves back into her life. According to the restraining order, Sam Lufti had been contacting Britney via text message and online messaging, having conspired last year with lawyer Jon Eardley, also restricted from harrassing Britney and her family, to remove the restraints via an unsolicited letter, which claimed she would receive 'full custody of her children' within 30-60 days. The documents state that Lufti has been informing Britney's hairdresser of his plans to remove the conservatorship and needed documents signed by Britney in order to proceed, asking the hairdresser to inform Britney that he is not responsible for the restraints. During Lufti's involvement in her life, he used her to his own financial gain, allowed her to perform on the MTV VMAs, and organised paparazzi shoot sessions in order to profit from her lack of security and management, and allowed her to partake in unsafe driving chases with paparazzi around Los Angeles. The original restraining order filed in early 2008 also claims he was feeding Britney drugs without her consent or awareness; this has all changed since the conservatorship, adding structure to her life.
